Welcome to the Christy Winter State Farm office, located in Peru, IN! Our State Farm Team has been serving Miami County and the surrounding communities since 1997. We are well equipped to help with all your insurance needs – including Auto, Home, Renters, Life, Pet, Health, UTV, Camper, Boat, Motorcycle, RV Insurance and more! We enjoy helping our Good Neighbors in Peru, Miami County, Wabash County, Logansport, Bunker Hill, Amboy, Denver, Macy, Kokomo, Walton, Deedsville, Roann, Cass County, and beyond.

I am a second-generation State Farm Agent and started off working for my father’s agency in 1987. With over 37 years of experience, I have a passion for helping people with all their insurance needs. Before starting my career with State Farm, I graduated from William Penn College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics.

We continue to provide the Peru community with insurance and dedicated service. State Farm runs in our family. We have over 115 years of experience serving as local agents between my father (61 years), my brother (28 years), and myself (26 years).

In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my family, serving in a marriage ministry, learning to sew, and enjoying the outdoors by backpacking, camping, and boating. I am happily married to my husband, John, and have 1 daughter, 2 sons, 3 granddaughters, and 1 grandson. We also are super excited about the newest addition to our family two Bouvier Des Flandres named Georgi and Gracie.
